It’s the second month of the new year, which means Club Members are busy planning big adventures for the year ahead. Read on to see where and what Club Members are planning (in their own words!), and, who knows, you may be inspired to start developing your own 2017 travels.
“We own a week at Kings’ Land by Hilton Grand Vacations Club. Two years ago we took my wife’s parents there to celebrate their 55th anniversary, and next year we are taking her two sisters and their families. We arranged a three-bedroom unit and will enjoy all the Big Island has to offer. We’re excited!”—Al Crew
“I am going to Cabo San Lucas for two weeks [in March] with friends who are also Members! Then in April we are taking a couple of the kids to South Carolina to stay on the beach and play in the sand with some of the grandkids! I can't wait!”—Carol Aruck
“I will be staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort for one night and then will be taking a seven-day cruise around Hawaii (using some of my Points). After the cruise, I will be staying for three nights in the new Grand Islander by Hilton Grand Vacations Club in Hilton Hawaiian Village. I can’t wait. It will be my eighth time staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village over the past 13 years. It is my only place to stay when I am on the island.”—Andrew Hager
“On June 30, we are flying from Tucson to JFK. We will spend the night at the Hilton at the airport. On July 1, we fly to Reykjavik, Iceland, and will spend two nights at Canopy by Hilton. We will continue our trip to Amsterdam and spend several nights at a bed-and-breakfast, just across from the Anne Frank house. After that, we’ll will board Royal Caribbean for a 12-night Baltic Cruise. A good portion of this fabulous vacation was paid for with Club and Hilton HHonors points.”—Robert Garn and Georganne Rodgers-Garn
“I’m going on a baseball trip with two of my college friends this summer. We’ll see six Major League Baseball games in eight days on the West Coast in late July. Even though we don’t get to see each other often, our friendships have stood the test of time.
I also worked out a way to transition right from the baseball trip to a family vacation. My wife and sons (Gabby, Chase and Logan) will meet up with me in San Diego, where we’ll check in to the Grand Pacific Palisades Resort in Carlsbad for a four-night stay. All of us will go to the final baseball game of the trip together in Anaheim.
Since sons have never been to San Diego, I’m sure we’ll hit the major attractions like the San Diego Zoo and the USS Midway. With Legoland right by Grand Pacific Palisades, [this trip is] a no-brainer.”—Josh Abrams
